I’ve gotten my laksa at Sambal Chilli for years—beef laksa was my go-to, at least once a month. It always hit the spot, rich in flavour and full of comfort. Sadly, tonight’s order really missed the mark. The noodles were undercooked, and the beef tasted completely different—cheaper, lacking the tenderness and taste I used to enjoy. It’s such a shame, because I’ve always appreciated the food and the lovely staff. I hope it was just an off night—but next time, I think I’ll be trying somewhere else.

Chef always makes an appearance & a great one indeed! Food was cooked fresh and tasty. A variety of Malay dishes and the plain Roti is always a fav for me! We ordered a few dishes with the option to take away. Reasonable prices. Seafood & vegan dishes available.

Laksa was good, sambal chili seafood tastes more like sweet and sour, beef rendang was average. Server is friendly, overall still not bad. =)
